Stan Tenen presents an Overview of Meru Foundation Research

The Meru Project is based on 30 years of research by Stan Tenen into the origin and nature of the Hebrew alphabet, and the mathematical structure underlying the sequence of letters of the Hebrew text of Genesis. The Project is sponsored by the Meru Foundation, registered California 501(c)(3) private nonprofit research and educational corporation founded in 1983.

"The Meru Project has discovered an extraordinary and unexpected geometric metaphor in the letter-sequence of the Hebrew text of Genesis that underlies and is held in common by the spiritual traditions of the ancient world. This metaphor models embryonic growth and self-organization. It applies to all whole systems, including those as seemingly diverse as meditational practices and the mathematics fundamental to physics and cosmology...Meru Project findings demonstrate that the relationship between physical theory and consciousness, expressed in explicit geometric metaphor, was understood and developed several thousand years ago."

Comment by William John Meegan on July 8, 2009 at 6:06pm: Stan Tenen research is very interesting and demonstrates that the Torah has an infinite depth. Years ago I use to communicate with Stan and we mutually agreed that our researches did not conflict with each other.

I had the feeling that Stan was onto some kind of musical system thought he did not express that idea at the time. But his donut shaped device indicated that if it was set to scale some kind of sound would emit from it. From my early years as a student just learning the teachings of Catholicism I have always believed that some day someone would demonstrate that the Bible would play out some kind of symphonic music. It may have been the dream of a boy not yet an adult but I believe that Stan will someday achieve that goal.

He has many beautiful charts and videos outlining his methods, which I purchased at the time and periodically I go through it to see if I have reached the stage of awareness where I could understand it at his level. It is amazing that both of us started at the same base not knowing how to read Hebrew and we each had to teach ourselves. He started about six years before me. He being a Jew and I a Christian we each went down a separate path to understand the texts of the Torah. This does not mean that either one of us is wrong. We are both right in our own systems. The Torah has many many depths. Someday I may be able to incorporate his understanding into my own.

We are of course honing the texts of the first chapter of Genesis from two different perspectives. However, I have envisaged that there are much more sophisticated and scientific levels to the texts of the Torah where I can not go because it would need a master in higher mathematics to do the work that is necessary.

I had the pleasure of meeting him, but only the "big picture" of what he as doing could I understand. I could see how your work would compliment : )

I feel kind of foolish. I went on the Meru Foundation site and lo and behold he is actually working on sound with the alphabet in the first chapter of Genesis. Can you imagine a 45-year old dream coming true in my own lifetime? WOW!

He has to be up in age now having these researches spanning 40-years.
