More UNITED than we realize!

Awareness once freed from the body creates it's own reality like that of a dream which unfolds in ways unstoppable and unpredictable along patterns both frightening and beautiful, peaceful and wrathful that can be totally overwhelming to the observer.

Hi Sweety, I´m back again, Hope you doing well. ;-)

Sorry but that is not quit right. It is not true that the awareness must be free from the body to create his own reality WE ARE that Awareness and we are the Emptiness in which we create our own Reality ALL the time. Bardo means Intermedia state and it means every state in between two points like Day and night wake and sleep Birth and death death and Birth ect.( there at least 6 Bardos) In every state we create our own Illusions of reality. In the buddhist view enlightment mean to be free from all the Conditions who create thisKind of Illusion of reality called Samsara. Thats why it is said that SAMSARA and NIRVANA are ONE. The reason we see the peacefull and Wrathfull aspect of the Buddhas after death is because the 42 Peacefull and 58 wrathfull Buddhas are still IN us because they are the Expression of our true Natur of Mind. In the moment of death our awareness change, so we can see those Aspects of the true Nature of the mindand with it the possibility to realise this natur and become one with it so we find liberation in the moment of death only if we don´t realise the true nature of mind our Journey in Samsara continues( what is the case from all of us;-) ) The Bardo Thödol is Dzogchen or Atiyoga the HIGHEST viewpoint of the Buddhist teaching that is an Importent fact because it need a special Condition to understand the whole Point of it. The whole Bardo thödol are an Instruction to realise the TRUE NATURE OF MIND in the moment of death

Soon I will write an Essay about the History of this Terma from Padmasambhava and the difference between the THREE Chapter Editon  ( first in english 1927 from Lama Kazi Dawa Samdup and W.Y. Evans-Wentz) and the full TWELVE Chapters Edition, Translated Fom the Cycles called "The peacefull and wrathfull Deitys: A deep spiritual teaching  on the natural Liberation through the realisation of the Enlightenment Mind"( a three volume edition from Dudjom Rinpoche 1975-1976)

Sorry for contradicting your explanation if you like see the Uploads on awareness i did and you see what i´m talking about. ;-)and see also my Blog Brief Introduction to the bardos;-)

Hugs and Kisses

I do not think what you said is a contradiction as much as an elaboration : )

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful."
