The Great Network

More UNITED than we realize!

You might be asking yourself, “How do I get started?” or “What are the best forms of meditation?”. In order to answer these questions, we must start off with presenting several options best suited for YOU.

Use caution when so-called experts tell you that their form of meditation is the ‘right way’. There is no such thing as a right way… it is what works for you. Pay attention to HOW you feel when you
wander through your experiences using these different techniques. Two
individual humans might not like the same form of meditation. It’s all
about preference.

Why should I meditate?

Meditation works effectively to reduce stress, can help your mind think clearly, and is an effective tool to balancing your emotions. Mediation can be applied to all aspects of your life, including family,
friends and work.

Meditation was designed is to clear negative thoughts, so you can work towards your true self and your life purpose.

How do I get started?

Please remove all the preconceived ideas on HOW to do this and WHAT this method should look like.

As we progress through life, so does meditation. Meditation is a journey; always teaching always learning within ourselves.

Some people may have visions of monks in far off lands sitting together in silence. You will be happy to know that you do not have to become a Monk to practice meditation effectively. Today, we are able to
apply techniques practiced by the Buddhist Monks and adapt it into our
own lifestyle. We must always remember that mediation cannot be taught
in a day or a week. Mediation is a continuous journey, your path to
enlightment, your path to your life purpose.

The hidden secret: you are already meditating every single day of your life. Yes, it’s true. Notice the next time your mind wanders off from
your current reality or simply observe how you feel tonight as you
drift off to sleep. You are in a state of meditation!

Scientist now can measure the electromagnetic frequencies of our brains in several different states. In the awake state such as operating at work, talking to a friend and watching TV, we are in what
is called a Beta state (frequency: 15 to 40 cycles per second). In a
relaxed state such as riding in a car or daydreaming, we are in what is
called Alpha state (frequency: 9 to 14 cycles per second). Depending
on your state of being, you can determine whether or not you are
meditating. At the lower end of the Alpha state, you can condition
yourself to go into a state of consciousness (or meditation) to reduce
stress. If done through a long period of time, you can reduce stress
significantly!

image Have you ever wondered why reading a book, taking a long bath or driving a car for long periods of time (20 to 30 minutes) relaxes you?
This is why. You have allowed yourself to lower your brain frequencies
enough in order to go into a meditative state. Isn’t this simple?! No
magic formula, no expensive tapes were bought, no time consuming groups
were gathered. Let’s take you to the next step:

Visualize yourself doing this for a even longer period of time. Imagine what it would feel like if you can get yourself to what is called a Theta state
(frequency: 5 to 8 cycles per second). Slow down your thoughts. It is
the space between each thought that true healing and inspiration can
come through.

Relaxation for longer periods of time is called Conscious Meditation. As a western society, we are just realizing the effectiveness of this tool to lower blood pressure, change body
chemistry, reverse the process of aging, and of course, reduce
excessive stress in our bodies.

What are the best forms of meditation?

This will give you some ideas of Conscious Meditations.

  • Basic Meditation Techniques (higher end of Theta state): This involves sitting in a comfortable position and just trying to quiet your mind by thinking of nothing. It’s not always easy to do this
if you don’t have practice with it. But a good way to begin is to think
of yourself as an ‘observer of your thoughts,’ just noticing what the
narrative voice in your head says, but not engaging it.
  • Focused Meditation Techniques (lower end of Alpha state): With this technique, you focus on something intently, but don’t engage your thoughts about it. You can focus on something visual, similar to
what I describe as an Energy Symbol in my meditations. You can focus
on a visual symbol like ocean waves, color or phrase. Maybe it would
be easier to focus on something constant, like your own breathing. This
will help you slip into an altered state of consciousness just as
    easily as the basic meditation.
  • Activity-Oriented Meditation Techniques (Alpha/Beta state): With this type of meditation, you engage in a repetitive activity, or one where you can get ‘in the zone’ and experience ‘flow.’ Again, this
quiets the mind, and allows your brain to shift. Activities like
walking, gardening, artistic expression and yoga can be effective forms
    of meditation.
  • Mindfulness Techniques (Alpha state): Mindfulness can be a form of meditation that, like activity-oriented meditation, doesn’t really look like meditation. It simply involved staying in the present moment rather than thinking about the future or the past. Focusing on
sensations you feel in your body is one way to stay ‘in the now;’
focusing on emotions and where you feel them in your body (not examining why you feel them, but just experiencing them as sensations) is another.
  • Spiritual Meditating (Alpha state): Meditation can also be a spiritual practice. It does not have to be, and certainly isn’t specific to any one religion, but can be used as a
spiritual experience. Many people experience meditation as a form of
prayer. That’s right, many people experience ‘guidance’ or inner wisdom
once the mind is quiet, and meditate for this purpose.

Whichever meditative techniques you use, the potential benefits are clear and numerous, making it one of the more commonly recommended stress management practices.

Check on how you feel inside when you go into these low frequency states of being. This is where you will find your answer. In a few days, I will be sending out a FREE meditation video on attracting
abundance for my subscribers. Not a subscriber yet? Sign up here: http://www.2emagine.com/course.php

Set aside a few moments out of your day and enjoy this form of Conscious Meditation.

Happy Shifting!
