Daily card reading 28 July. 10 of Disks.

Tomorrow, the world gathers to meditate for healing GAIA, our mother earth. From 6.19pm to 7.19pm Singapore time, energy healing and meditation groups will sit and visualize abundance, healing and peace for all beings that reside on this star of ours. The bringing down and raising up of energies will empower the planet and the billions of lives living on it.

This is, in one way, what the 10 of Disks means. The injection of spiritual power into the earthly activities that we do.

The 10's are all about the end of one cycle and the beginning of another (1+0 = 1) From the bottom, we begin again at the top, a new level of experience, a new state of movement. It isn't square one, its a spiraling movement, its an evolution of sorts. We should always move to the next level, to become bigger, better, more attuned, more alive.

IN the THOTH deck, the ten of disks is named WEALTH. On it are symbols of mercury, the element of transmission of energies. Its the activating liquid, the vehicle that carries forth power from one state to another. The symbol of the SUN empowers the card, empowers mercury (the messenger of the Gods) and its telling us that our next level should be infused with a spiritual meaning. Since the Disks is related to the earth and the earth cards in the tarot reflect the home, family, career and money; this particular card is talking to us about greater meaning. We have to look beyond the practical needs of cash and shelter. We have to look deeper and find understanding, warmth, benefit and charity in the work that we do.

We may be stuck in a job that has no value to us, and we're just doing it for the paycheck. BUt at some stage, our souls and hearts will be restless. It will want to push us to search for our dreams and aspirations, it will want to inspire us to be courageous, and to move out there to make our realities come true.

We should not be afraid.

The spiritual source of the sun is supporting us always and when we listen to our hearts and our souls, we will find that it is in tune with the universe, with the cosmos, and by following such a path, we will find our own way to tranquility and enlightenment. Enlightenment is realization, of things far beyond our own ego's and our own needs and desires. We will find that, when we do the work that is meaningful to us, we not only change ourselves but transform those around us. Look at the rock star, fully at one with the music on stage, look at the dancer, moving with the rhythm of the universe, look at the social worker, toiling in the heat to build homes for the homeless, look at chef, cooking up a storm that fills stomachs and heal hearts. Each of these people have found a calling. You can find yours too.

So reflect, think about what your heart and soul wants. You may be at the end of one stage in your career or family life, ready to take it to the next level. Be not afraid, for the power of Spirit is with you.
