Wow, there's a name that takes me back...

Your photo makes you look like a crazy person - way too much intensity for the setting. Love the hat tho. Very Pendleton Rodeo.

Thank you for the note recently. The accident happened almost a year ago. In alot of ways we are only just now starting to get past it. We still dont drive. But in almost every other way we are normal people. It is so agreeable here, and all of my vices are bountifully provided for, so I am going to stay here for the forseeable future, although I have to admit that there is a sushi place in Scripps Ranch that made this one thing that I miss. I was always surprised that after I moved up to LA that I could never find a japanese restaurant as good as Meiki.

Anyway, your photo looks like you lost some weight. And became a cowboy. Are you still seeing that really angry immigrant guy? I bet he loves that.

How's the little red head?

Well, welcome to the site - lots of really cool stuff here.

Hi Rebecca

With your mission as stated I take it you are a happy individual and probably quite content and yet productive. Moi aussi (me too). I like the idea of Never Regret yesterday...Life is in you today and you make your own tomorrow.

I would like to know more about the art of communication you mention.

hello Rebecca

I fully understand - fully - It is called being there - the person himself as himself, without gimmicks, pretenses, nervousness or anything negative presenting - just the being himself being there - when you are able to be there in the now comfortably so many "other things" seem to disappear - things cannot effect you as they might otherwise do - you can hold your position in space and others are indeed drawn to this safe space -

So yes absolutely!! I do understand - as a matter of fact I use this technique as one of my drills with my clients who come to me for personal assistance - training them to just be there comfortably, no talking, not even thinking - just being in the now, observing and perceiving, Its great!! Does wonders!!

i think we are on the same page regarding this, yes?

Also one must take into account when he is fully able to be there and occupy the space he is in comfortably that his level of affinity rises greatly, affinity for self, others and the environment. I call it being in present time, here and now as yourself. true communication occurs when a person can be there comfortably with the other person.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I do not know where you live but here in LA it was 90+ degrees- getting hot out there - got to go for my hikes earlier than usual - I do not deal well with hot weather, especially when I am exercising outdoors.

love Diane
