I like it when a person's acronym suggest's their favorite pasttime, or core talent. ;-)

Vanese has a black berry, but i only have access to this site and cant get my emails. I saw your emails, so i presume you're up to speed on what happened. a funny side note in all of this was that the catscan turned up a series of growths on my pituitary gland, or hypothalamus or something, so you may be right after all. I am crazy, and not in that poseur, syd barrett sort of way, but the Andy Kauffman sort of way, where everyone thinks your an original and creative thinker, but really you just have some fucking thing growing in your brain that is rewiring your thougths in strange and mildly amusing ways.

we got some good news today, no surgery necessary for v. several months in the halo, unfortunately, but considering the alternative, I'll take it.

anyway, sorry to have fallen out of touch for so long.

They are NOT stingy with the opiates here. my ribs are fractured and i did something to my spleen. my room is full of the people who have died here. they dont respond to conversation, but seem to enjoy funny faces and the occasional act of physical comedy.

keep me in your thoughts, and if you want me to heal faster, write another book (you lazy bastard).

p.s. is this what you look like now? i remember there being more detail in your face...

Hey! Your second post came thru, but your first one did not. Regarding your profile picture, it is that default grey silouette over a white background. As I recall, you used to have eyes, nose, mouth and occasionally a beard, but in the default pix, it is just a grey icon of a blank human head and shoulders in outline.

I've been taken off the synthetic heroin and am downgraded to taking codeine like a commoner. The first day it was like my child was taken away from me, the second day it was like I broke up with a girlfriend that I didnt really like that much, and today I'm pretty much over it. I sure get why there is such a dangerous rip tide associated with the stuff.

V and I are sharing her Vanese@mac.com address at the moment, so you can send things to me through that. Also, I assume you've noticed that I finally managed to automate the Magical Egypt sales, so sales royalties are starting to result in actual checks to you. The Great Work advertisements and the aggressive cross-promotion of ME to the TGW customers is bringing our ME back into the black. And hopefully from there into the clear blue. ME and TGW are all a single "store" now, so you are getting royalties from both in a single check. V told me she has already cut a couple to you.

Also, I dont know if I mentioned it, but the San Diego 3D company thing fell apart. I've taken the project to a much bigger 3D house in LA, who are friends with Mike Page also. Me being stranded down here is definitely not helping the momentum, but I am actually pretty good friends with these new people, whereas the SanDiego people were neo-con dipshits that looked at me like a curious and possibly dangerous insect, and didnt instill me with high hopes for a longlasting and ideologically synergistic relationship anyway.

One final note - the kid in the bed next to me was a Jehovah's Witness, and after a couple of days of me talking about the difference between spirituality and "weaponized christianity", he checked out of the hospital. A couple of days later, some higher-ups from the JW church came round and politely asked me to stop un-converting their paritioners. I realized that even in my downtime, I could put my mouth to constructive use as an anti-missionary.

How're things on your end? I am reading the best fucking book I've read since "Serpent". It's by Christopher Hitchens, whose John Michell-like razor wit and brutal powers of reason make me laugh and wince in sympathy for all of those who have bought their ideology off the rack. His new book is called "God Is Not Great", and I would love for you to read it so we can discuss. It should be manditory reading in schools.

After the day that I put your glasses on (remember when you lost them at the bottom of the pool at abu simbel?), I realized that this is probably what I look like to you. Only maybe a little wider and rounder.

Actually the combination of the hospitalization, the opiates and the constant walking up and down the stairs at the hospital have taken all the baby fat back off of me. I'm having to fight the aussie women off with a sharp stick.

Had an awesome interview with John Major Jenkins right before I left. If you have any thoughts on a 2012 project, I have several hours of content in the can from him, as well as a good three hours with Graham on a wide variety of topics. Trying to figure out what to do with it. Just heard before I left LA that both Jerry Bruckheimer and Roland Emmerich (of "godzilla" and "independence day") are both working on big budget apocalypse movies about 2012. So a good time to pull out the surfboards and see if we can ride the wave of hysteria that is sure to ensue.

Mr. West, I'm a fan of your work in Egyptian Ancient history. I got all the DVD's and they were very enlightening. I hope you accept my friendship in this website and I wish you more power and success on your future quests.

I'm no reporter or fanatic or anything else, i'm just a very curious individual that likes to learn as much as i can.
So, my question is... How did it all started for you? how or when was that enlightening moment when your curiosity told you that there was something wrong or that the whole truth wasn't being told to us for whatever reason?
I would like to hear your story on this if I may.
