I have been to Giza three times, and into the Great Pyramid twice, and never have I been able to believe that these structures were tombs. It makes no sense to me. The architecture is not Egyptian-tomb-like. And if these were built to honor the dead pharoahs, why are they built smaller over time?? The pharoahs, like most politicians, wanted to be known as the biggest and baddest ever. Hmm.
The vibration, the energy in Egypt is unlike anything else I have experienced. At the same time I felt connected to everything, and acutely aware of the mysteries beyond my knowing.
I am satisfied with not accepting the conventional wisdom and also not being able to provide a convincing alternative.
I would go back there tomorrow if I could.
