Awakening

Awakening is a very simple but profound thing. It is as simple as noticing that you are not your thoughts. You are the awareness behind the thoughts. That part of you which is aware yet unaffected. I don't know about you but for me thoughts come sometimes unexpectedly and unwanted. I wonder why am I thinking that? It is as if I have no say as to what thoughts come into my head. Are they really part of me since they come with no volition on my part.

We had all kinds of fruits and veggies as well as chickens and eggs when I was a child. I love what you said about not planting too much - I am so "resposnible when shopping I cannot even imagine too much LOL!!!
