The High King of the Danaans was set to be Nauda, but they didn't accept leaders with blemishes.  So, Bres son of Eri was made king instead.  This son of a woman was a harsh inhospitable king with a seeming inability to identify with his subjects.  After Bres was cursed by a poet, Nauda got a silver hand or/and was healed enough.  He was made king and is an example of Fire of Air.  Bres turned his anger on his mother.  She gave him a ring that was only for a man it fit.  He found out his father was Elatha, a Femorian king.  He went to him and gained help to conquer Ireland.  Under oppression (of a purging thought) the Irish toiled (fall through spring) till redeemed by Lugh (the bright quarter of abundant growth), God of Light.
