Remembering your dreams is the starting place for learning to have lucid dreams. If you don't recall your dreams, even if you do have a lucid dream, you won't remember it! And, in order to be able to recognize your dreams as dreams while they are happening, you have to be familiar with the way your own dreams work. Before we really get cracking on lucid dream induction methods, you should be able to recall at least one dream every night.

So lets see where we are now...

usally in the morning i know the feeling of the dream and i dont anaylise it then it pops out like amovie .
per week i usally think a bout my dreams every day and work symbols out of them only cause i usally have dreams of people who have hurt themselves or are in touble . but most dreams have a significant symbols in them.
i have not lucid dreamed in about amonth i have had jumping dreams and other "weird" dreams that dont resemble the norm but i tend to dwell in the unreal most of the day so i dont see things in dreams as starnge i seemed to be too usedto the dreaming world and this makes me concious but i just go with the flow and dont anaylise
I remember every dream every night, but unfortunately I've never lucid dreamed... :( I'd like to though.
Frequency of dreams remembered varies, sometimes I have several vivid ones in the same night. Also often have dreams several nights of the week, but then sometimes it changes and I don't recall them for several days or even more.

I usually keep a dream diary and have done for over twenty five years.

Sometimes I go through phases when I can't wake up in the morning and the dreams just seem to go on and on!

Dreaming increased dramatically when I gave up weed!

I don't usually lucid dream, but do sometimes when I am on the threshold of waking up, the dream can seem malleable and hyper real.
I remember I least one dream per night, some more vivid recall than others. I have had lucid dreams on occasion, the last one being quite some time ago. When I have kept a consistent dream journal (sporadic over 20 yrs.), my recall is of course much greater & more detailed. I have not made an entry for quite a while.
I'm at the back of the class. I'm learning to remember my dreams - should say relearning. I hope I don't slow you guys down but I received the newsletter notifying me of this group the day after I decided that I had the time to explore lucid dreaming. I'm taking it as a sign that now is the time and here is the place.

I tend to remember my dreams everyday for at least a few minutes after I wake up. Since I have not been trying to analyze my dreams for any reason, unless the dream was particularly profound, or memorable in some way, I would become involved in something very shortly after awakening and would forget the dream.

Interestingly, many of my dreams seem to be "lucid" dreams, or at least what I would determine to be lucid dreams. In many of my dreams I go to the same place. I recognize it by a certain feel, and certain non-logical ways that events often take place. For example, driving a car often involves physically pushing it on foot as well as driving it in the normal way. It is a place peopled by many who I do not know and do not recognize from my waking life (sorry Dr. Freud), and who I interact with at very complex levels. I have come to interpret this as, perhaps, experiencing a different dimension of my life experience.

Interestingly, again, my "The Wayfarer III" novel is based upon one of my "lucid" dreams.

I have always enjoyed playing with the dream experience; staying in bed a little longer, waking up briefly, mentally reviewing what I had been dreaming, returning to continue the dream, then repeating the process and doing it for several hours. I don't know that this is "lucid" dreaming as much as it is "serial" dreaming. In any case, it is fun to play with dreams.
I dream 1 once a night at least 7 times a week. I lucid dream at least 1 a month but very rear I dream while meditating once very weird and disconnected
I currently remember most of my dreams every night. I wake up and go right back to the same dream even when I don't want to. I dream movies all night long. Sometimes I wake up tired from all the dreaming. I have a hard time waking up in the morning. I have been taking sleeping pills so this wouldn't occur so much. ( just the past couple of nights I decided not to take them and now I get this email, so I'm thinking I may try natural sleeping for a bit while participating)
My dreams rarely are enjoyable. I'm always looking for something or can't get where I need to be. I dont have many nightmares. My favorite ones are flying dreams or when I find crystals, gems or money.
Lucid Dream? Does this mean clearly remembered? I'm not 100% sure I know what this means...

I generally recall my dreams ever night, and often write them down. I actually became interested in Lucid Dreaming recently, and had begun reading Lucid Dreaming by Robert Waggoner shortly before the group started. I also have, but have not yet begun to read, Advance Lucid Dreaming, The Power of Supplements, by Thomas Yuschak. He discusses various supplements that may aid in lucid dreaming. I noted that you're going to be using the La Berge book, which I have ordered and should be receiving in the next few days.
I remember something of my dreams most nights, mainly from the last dream cycle before waking. The big obstacle is lack of sleep because of the kids and too much work - often I have only 5-6 hours. If I can just lie in bed for 5 minutes when I awaken, I can usually pick up the thread and follow it back for some distance.

I've been experimenting with lucid dreaming on and off for a couple of years, and have had four of five lucid dreams since, the last being about three months ago. I usually get discouraged or distracted after a couple of months of effort, and stop trying. I hope being in a group is going to make things different and keep me going until I can stabilize my capacity to recognize the dream state.

Not all lucid dreams have the same quality. The first one I remember, from about 12 years ago, I went into straight from the waking state, by following my breathing while falling asleep, and it was extremely clear, vivid and stable. More recent ones are less clear and I tend to drift back into a distracted dream state after recognizing that I am dreaming.
Depends, on a average basis I probably at least remember 2 to 3 dreams a night.
If I make it to bed by 10pm I always remember many dream sessions, I wake up early bet 4am and 5 to meditate.
My Lucid dreams have kind of took a back seat to my meditation but I will still have one a month.
At one point not too long ago I was Lucid Dreaming nightly!!
