More UNITED than we realize!

have been cautiously exploring some forms of Kabbalah meditation techniques. I know that the sages warned about the use of these techniques, without being prepared. But what does being prepared means? I know that it requires much knowledge in permutations and scripture, but how much? I approach these techniques with much caution, because the energy flow can be incretibly powerful. I have no teacher to guide me through this, my rav says he doesn't know enough to, which means then that I know nothing. But when I tell him what I am experiencing, he says what i am doing is working. But how dangerous is it?

My experience has been that the danger comes from ourselves. As I enter more energetic spheres my own weaknesses are also energized. the more preparation i make getting to my darker nooks and craneys the safer the experience is for me. I'm thinking of Jungian shadow stuff here, stuff that can blind side us, about ourselves.

No, there can not be any real human teachers to the techniques that will allow you to explore the Torah from a Kabbalistic [esoteric] point of view. God can be your only confidant. My techniques were always mathematical, the meditation techniques can become highly sophisticated hair-splitting logic, but I want to tell you about a highly dangerous situation that I ran into and how I handled it when I was overwhelmed by it.

I had initially discovered a cycle of nine points in the first Chapter of Genesis in January 1977. It took me another 21-months to realize that this cycle had 12-parts. Intially I gleamed both parts of this cycle from an Astrological point of view but from October 1978 refused to even consider the idea of Astrology as having anything to do with the Bible. It took me another four and a half years: to April 11, 1983 before I realized that this initial cycle was the key to discovering a system of 1584-cycles. When I made this discovery I literally worked on the cycles for four days without sleep. I could not get to sleep but I knew that if I did not get to sleep the unconscious mind would come forward and I would become psychotic.

I had to find a way to bring myself back to normal and I knew instinctually that I had to get myself some sleep in order to do that. I had to grip my pride and go to the hospital and talk to doctors to get them to give me medication that would allow me to sleep. I felt quite embarrassed when I did this because I must have sounded like a crazy bible fanatic. But the hell with pride if it would keep my sanity. So the doctors did give me the needed medication. When I awoke I took more medication and went back to sleep.

I understood that when I made my discovery the collective unconscious recognized what I had found and tried to take over. If it was not for my studies of Carl G. Jung's work I would not have known what to do or what was happening to me.

Over the years I have heard many a door open to me and it is literally an audible click in the brain.

Like your rav I warn you to tread lightly - there is no returning once you have crossed that invisible line of demarcation - you will literally become a prisoner to the quest. The wonderful thing about crossing the line is that you will forever afterwards feel that you have assistance from unseen hands helping you throughout your studies. Nevertheless, do not make that promise of future help from unseen hands as a license to be foolish before you get a handle on what you are trying to accomplish. I almost fell into the abyss.
Wow, William. I had a somewhat similar experience where I was wired for two days, after a mediation session with letters. As much as i tried to sleep this current of energy would wake me up. But finally was able to the next evening. What do you mean by invisible light of demarcation? Is it then part of it to have this great amount of energy after this experiences?

Mike I agree with you, our fears are also energize and aside from the fact that we are dealing with is a reality totally new to us and our perceptions. What sort of preparation do you do, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the insight gentleman!

The invisible line of demarcation is the point when you begin to grasp the Great Work. Once you have cross that line of ignorance to knowing you can not go back to blissful ignorance. You will be literally haunted for the rest of your life by what you found.
