In order to understand the story of Cain and Abel one must get their terminologies correct.
Cain was a tiller of the ground: in other words he was a farmer. Abel was a keep of the sheep: in other words he was a shepherd.
By the way those cycles intervene again because without them you cannot know why Cain is a farmer and Abel is a shepherd.
Shepherds tend to be stargazers and work at night and farmers tend to work the daylight hours. Remember when Adam did not have a helper Yahweh gave him animals to name: these were the Zodiac animals. Whereas, Eve spoke to the serpent in the Eleusinian mysteries, which Demeter is goddess of the grain. Very much like the new fandangle cult called Christianity that has many parables about the farm. Actually, Christianity is a the Eleusinian doneover with new symboism. So just as Adam and Eve got tired of stargazing and went to the Hierophant of the Eleusinian mysteries: Jesus? The point is that the cycles demonstrate why one is a shepherd and the other a farmer.
Now the 23rd psalm say, "YAHWEH (Lord) IS MY SHEPHERD". This means that Yahweh is a keeper of the flock also.
Notice that Cain did not go to Abel but rather Abel went into the farmer's field to speak to Cain. This is very similar to Eve going to the serpent not vice versa. Thus Abel is converted to the Eleusinian mysteries.
Now Yahweh says to Cain, "where is thy brother?" and Cain answers, "am I my brother keeper?" Cain is being a bit faciteous here but to the point and more or less mocking Yahweh because it is Yahweh that is the shepherd. Cain is a farmer and an independent person and now Abel is. But notice that Yahweh has lost another sheep as he lost Adam: "where art thou Adam?". Yahweh is a very poor shepherd indeed seeing he's losing his congregation at an extremely fast pace. Notice how Yahweh threatened Adam that he would die the day that he ate of the forbidden fruit. It would seem in Yahweh eyes as if Abel was also dead, at the hands of his brother Cain because he (Abel) was converted to the Eleusinian mysteries. Got to blame the lost of the flock on someone so Cain is curse. Notice how Cain fakes being sorrowful by mockingly repeating Yahweh's words. What does Cain do after that he go off and build a city. In other words he is not a fugitive and vagabond in the earth.
In the New Testament says if you are successful with a small amount then a greater will be given to you to handle: 10 fold, 100 fold, etc.
How many people comtemplate wihat they are reading or do they take everything at face value?
