Hello my loves...we live in such interesting times right now, and it has caused me to reflect on my life, and what I have learned. It occurred to me that our network here has some of the wisest people in the world and who knows what could come out of a storehouse of our collective wisdom!! And I must admit, I am curious what each of our life lessons may have been.
As a result I invite you to come and share a lesson you have learned along the way...so that others may benefit from your experiences.
Now there are many good lessons to learn, many that would look proud on a new age cereal box..you know the ones, the ones that you cannot disagree with, but are so impersonal in a way they are "nice". Well I am interested in your personal wisdom....if you could teach the world one thing...what would it be. Now before we all respond...LOVE EACH OTHER...if a person does not..., saying that is not going to help them very much is it : )....HOW did you learn to love each other is what I want to know....
Please share...
Blessings to you!

I always told my Dad that I loved him and he passed away on February 24, 2011 after suffering a massive heart attack on February 12, 2011 on his way to church.

If only we could pour love into the world and let it deluge all of humanity - no amount of active imagination can bring that about but I do see where your heart is.
The greatest love that we can give to the world is to leave humanity to itself just as the ancients did. They left behind their teachings anonymously for those that really wanted to understand what life was about. In the end I think that is all that any of us can do. Christ's last words as he was dying was a tribute to his love for mankind, "father forgive them for they know not what they do". No hatred and no anymousity.
I remember a story that Joseph Campbell (the great American mythologist) told about the Tibetan Monks after the Communists raided destroying their monasteries killing tens of thousands of them in 1959. Campbell tells us that he spoke to one of the survivors of that slaughter and he said, 'there was no rankor or anymosity towards the Communist government whatsoever.' All was as it should be in the waxing and waning of the TAO. If we could find that kind of peace towards the negative forces of life - what a wonderful life it would be. I do believe that that is why each of us are here: to learn how to obtain that kind of peace. That kind of peace is true love.
