End-times or a New Age?

So what's the big deal about the Aquarian Age?
You have to wonder if some folks sat around 2,000+ years ago and spoke with great anticipation of the Piscean Age, and at the same time "regular folks" sat around and made fun of those "weird" new-age Pisceans.
Our current epoch is more than just the "next age." It is that, of course, as we've seen cycles or ages come and go, each oriented to developing qualities in humanity and the planet so that progress can be made.
But what's different about this period is that a major step is being made throughout the entire planet which, of course, will impact everything and everyone on it. This step is nothing short of a major planetary Initiation intended to propel the Earth from the cycle of involution to the evolutionary path, which will eventually result in a return to the Godhead.
In the meantime, there are many ways to look at this changeover. Those familiar with Initiation know that through the impact of higher energies, consciousness unfolds, matter is refined, and attunement to a higher impulse grows.
The Bible refers to this period as the "end of days," seen as the final judgment, the battle of Armageddon, and the return of the Christ. These views are essentially correct, viewed from a different perspective and with a new consciousness.
For context, Earth is a schoolhouse for the evolution of humanity and many species, including the Elemental Beings that provide the physical forms we occupy. As we all move along taking classes, which are all designed to re-establish (eventually) contact with the Higher Self, we progress through various grades of Initiation until we reach the point where we graduate from the school of physical existence on this plane. We then move on to other more advanced schools, as it were, for progress is seemingly endless.
So too does a planet progress, as it is a center in a great being referred to by some as a Solar Logos. As this present cycle reaches it conclusion, not only will those on the planet be taking final exams, but the entire planetary life will, too. Thus, schoolhouse Earth is graduating. Many will proceed with it, and those who don't pass will be moved to another school for more preparatory work. This is indeed the end of times, with respect to the present civilization, for the next cycle will be different, a new era, a new time.
It will be an exciting ride, for Initiations are periods of upheaval. For Spirit to prevail, the old forms and modes must be released. On a planetary scale, this will result in the breakdown of aspects of civilization.
There's still a battle to be resolved between the old--the forces of stagnation--and the new--the forces of evolution. This battle is being made manifest in the physical, and is the equivalent of the Battle of Armageddon.
A literal fight is occurring to decide which will prevail: the one of staying put or the one of moving forward. There really is no choice here but to move forward, sooner or later, but those aligned with the old order are resisting any change or loss of control.
What's needed are enlightened servers who can assist with the unfolding of Spirit's plan in the midst of turmoil. This requires knowing and commitment.

Interesting subject! Initiation is something that has been going though me head alot of late. In the flower of life DM speaks of the seven chakras and presented the idea that there are certain 'blocks' between the third and fourth chakras..and the sixth and seventh....i have this feeling that each of those blocks are somehow associated with a major initiation point for humanity...and until we 'get it'..then we don't move up to the next chakra. I associate the first block with letting go of our investment in the solidity/efficacy/reality of the material world (initiation point one)...which would move us up out of the bottom three chakras into the heart chakra....and the second block i associate with letting go of our investment in the solidity/efficacy/reality of the 'guilt' paradigm (initiation point two). This would allow us to move from the sixth psychic chakra up into Universal Consciousness/seventh chakra....i have no proof of this..it is just a feeling....does anyone have any experience in this area? I get the feeling that to move past these two major initiation points would potentially move us straight into the slip stream of God consciousness..

When I had my Kundalini experience I had no idea that it was that until hearing it spoke about in a lecture some months after experiencing it. As I learned about it over the years it became obvious that I did not go through the stages of the seven chakras but it would seem that all seven chakras were activated at once.
I have read works on the Kundalini and it talks about people that have had the full experience of all seven chakras activated and most of these people have no idea what to do with it. Some of them end up in insane asylums and most end up failures in life because of this experience has cause them to become antisocial and they go from one secular job after another. They have no way of focusing that energy which they found themselves with.
I happened to be meditating on the gospel of Matthew at the time of my experience and it was as if I had broken a metaphor in the text and I was taken directly into the light. I believe that the prerequisite for such an experience is that the individual has to be deeply sincere in his or her spiritual search with a deep desire to know who and what God is. Without those prerequisites I do not believe that the individual will get far into his or her spiritual experiences. But notice how I was previously focused prior to my experience. I can not say that I was prepared for such an experience and I do not believe anyone can be ready for such enlightenment.
Total absolute commitment without reservation is the only requirement and I do not believe there will be any blockage of the lingum going up the spine through the seven chakras.
Giving less than your all is the road to failure and is the road for the Kudalini to find blockages on the path to glory.

Science tells us that there will be an end time for humanity. The perennial or cosmic philosophy mythologizes it, but does not give a specific time. In the Christian and Jewish systems, every thousand years there is a tendancy to link ones own life with the end of humanity. The Book of Revelation is a rewrite of that from Yudah "Barabbas" Bin Yudah. He after all was one of the five historical characters we call the Jesus of the Bible. Being separated from the time most don't relize that even the edit version on Patmos (i think this is the spelling
I think one of the problems is waiting for signs to do the right things. I've met people who thought planting trees of any sort would be a waste, since Jesus would return sooner. In one way of thinking the new awakening of the sciences had it's begining 1400 years ago. All the sciences were already encouraged and mystically linked. There are always people of all sorts of consciousness. A boom in technology increases the ability of the spreading of that light. Surely it is spreading like never before, although the population boom spreads it thin enough to make it seem like a downfall. The drag is not jurisprudence, it is the abandonment of it as a living entity. The drag is not mythology, it's the refusal to adapt the scriptures to new circumstances and relize that the bibles are open for interpretation. The awaking is keeping the relationship of gratitude, live through the stage of rules & skills, and maintain that enough to expand. Or in other words: Form a universal relationship. Hold to cosmic and natural law. Allow that to expand and its symbolism to open you to experience.

If you are speaking of the average man, I suspect they will be given the necessary inputs for decision making. I also feel Steve Kellogg still has a point; it is required that those who possess necessary information should pass it along in the most suitable or applicable manner.
Speaking of the powers that be, I believe they know. The agenda among them is to simply maintain the things they have: Things possessed, in degree. It is always they who possess 'so much' who wish to lead humanity. This possession is a statement: "Look at me" -- "Recognize my authority".
Now that I have already forgotten the above, I wonder what new energy will arrive upon us. I have only heard ethics as the new power. I would like to also know all the particulars as compared against the generalities. I expect Planetary Regents will not bother the Regent of this Planet. I have never stated this before... I will not repeat myself.

I will go simple here,
I agree that a battle is being manifested here. We can see this all over the planet; the ones who are sticking to the old controlling the world as always, and the ones who want to change this world.
I am one of those who want to see a better future for all, and probably millions more want this also. So as they say “the majority wins”, therefore, what we are going to see here besides changes in the economy and other things, is the way that people will be force to change, as everything else changes, even the weather.
So no end for the Earth or Humanity; but a new human, with a full grown Earth and maybe some other life forms, which are already sprouting all over.

Maybe those who resist change or loss of control share an interest in evolving to a higher plane, only they maintain an inordinate interest in the Elemental Principle. They may not be the source consisting of placing obstacles in the path. The mass of humanity in general may be a source of much chaos as they observe and experience change which seems inconvenient and distressful.
They who do not lead or maintain control always criticize they who do. Show 'em, go do it better than they.

My previous post's were mainly frivolous noises. I think Initiation is almost exclusively concerned with maturity of the human. My understanding of maturity is mostly about acceptance that one is made of all the same stuff found within the Universe, the Cosmos. This carries further to include one as being inextricably intertwined, interlocked, interwoven, interpermeated with every being and everything on this planet, including the planet itself.
A statement exists somewhere illustrating humanity, as not being of this world. Does this simply mean we are visitor's here? Do we return to particular stars, each one their own star? Is a star really a source of heat and light, or perhaps an agent used for this, as a lense? What then would be at the bottom or be That which utilizes a star as an agent for dispersing heat and light? Consciousness? Are we but consciousnessess that ultimately return to One Consciousness? When Day arrives once more we begin another sojourn.
We call Night, Pralaya, in some circles, Day is Manifestation. The latter is known as illusion, World Illusion is Mahamaya. So... What is real? Night or Day?
Is the visible light spectrum actually darkness when compared to a more true Light?
