The Great Network

More UNITED than we realize!

I am most interested to see what books you have read that have changed your life!
In a very large part this network exists because of books written by our very members and teachers!
To kick it off then, I will add those very books.

Please share with us which ones have been important to you!

Blessings

Lon MIlo DuQuette - My Life with Spirits
In my life with Spirits Lon describes his magicakal beginning and journey.
The joys and bumps along the way. As usual it is an entertaining read, I giggled several times, but it really gave me a healthy perspective on a magickal life.

Pamela Jaye Smith - Inner Drives
Inner Drives helped mt to understand CLEARLY the way the chakra's operate and create the people we are today. Written as a writers guide, Pamela breaks down what you would expect from a person dominated by each of the charkras, what they would wear, how they would act etc.
Again, easy to read, but so fantastic.

Art Rosengarten-Tarot of Nine Paths
Although Art's take on the tarot is unconventional, it gave me a greater understanding of the power of tarot in general. The new cards he has created indeed add value, and after reading it I have never looked at the tarot in the same way.

Justin:

Do you have the 13-volume set The Golden Bough - Sir James Frazer. It took me years to find it.

Perhaps not books that have changed my life, but ones that have a most significant effect on my worldview:

The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious - C.G. Jung.

Aion - C.G. Jung.

These books have radically changed the way I view the psychic landscape, a term I would never have used previously. Amazing thought processes therein.

The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind - Julian Jaynes.

If this amazingly well researched hypothesis from deceased psychologist Jaynes is anywhere near true paradigm shift is a term not capable in terms of breadth and scope to encompass the concept. A must read.

The Golden Bough - Sir James Frazer.

Though a venerable and therefore slightly aged work Frazer's theory on the ancient ritual and magickal underpinnings to the present orthodox Christian paradigm is an eye opener. Scapegoat indeed.
The Magadeln Manuscript
The Hathor Material
both by Tom Kenyon have been very instructive

Conversations - Read it and see what's in it
Project World Evacuation - Discusses the Planetary evacuation which no doubt happen

Enlightened Sexuality
Essays on Body Positive Spirituality
Georg Feuerstein
Tony - Good Idea - may I delete both your and my post?
When my son died, I read the Tibetan Book of the Dead and it aided me in travelling out of the body to travel with him for an 8 hour period
I'm very sorry for your loss Tony, that is about the worst kind of loss a person can endure, my thoughts & prayers are with you my friend. I have experienced similar but I'm sure not quite the same as you. I also didn't know u've experienced traveling out of body!?!? That is quite an experience, I know about these things, though I don't really know much else there is that's important in this world. It's quite a ride that's for sure! =)
I so hope you are enjoying Michael's book. It certainly has been my honor to bring it into manifestation - and offer it to all.
Blessings of Light,
Meahn

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm going to publish a short article about it sooner or later. I was born with ability to vacate the body but the technique that I came across some years ago is very different to what I used earlier in life. As strange as it all seems.
